Are you a creative individual looking to be part of something extraordinary? Dance Factory is currently seeking a Creative Services Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Creative Services Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production of WaterFire Providence events, a series of captivating multidisciplinary art installations utilizing the city's canal network.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Creative Services Manager and team to plan and execute the artistic vision of WaterFire Providence events
- Assist in coordinating and managing logistics, including venue setup, equipment, and props
- Support the recruitment and coordination of performers, artists, and volunteers
- Coordinate and communicate with external stakeholders, including vendors and sponsors
- Maintain and organize event documentation, including contracts, permits, and schedules
- Contribute to the development and execution of marketing and promotional strategies for WaterFire Providence events
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as budget tracking, expense reporting, and data analysis
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A strong passion for the arts and performing arts industries
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Prior experience in event coordination or arts administration is a plus
